Houston hosted a major cigar event, Houston Cigar Week, from May 20th to May 25th, 2025, marking its 5th anniversary. It is described as the largest cigar festival in the U.S. and takes place during Memorial Day Week in Houston. 

This week-long celebration included over 25 events, such as a Comedy Show, Pool Party Concert, and a Grand Finale featuring a Sundress & Stogies All-White party. Other activities included various themed parties, industry mixers, exclusive liquor tastings and pairings, food and smoke experiences, golf tournaments, workshops, business networking, and ladies' events. 

Some featured events included a Meet & Greet with Yung Joc, a Smoke in the City kick-off, a comedy show with artists like Omar Gooding, Tony Rock, and Pierre, and concerts featuring artists like Tela, Lil Flip, and Case & Mixtape Band. A Ladies' Night and a Summer Soiree, featuring Kenya Moore from Real Housewives of Atlanta, were also part of the celebration.
